Nace en Zaragoza, España, en 1977. Músico y compositor aragonés, desde muy pequeño empieza a tocar el tambor por tradición familiar. Rápidamente amplía su interés con la batería y la percusión formando la banda de rock The Jim Shelters. Es a partir de éste comienzo, cuando sus intereses musicales y compositivos le conducen al teclado y la armónica, realizando las primeras composiciones. Inicia sus primeros estudios musicales de piano clásico y batería, vive en diferentes ciudades españolas, y se traslada a Irlanda, dejando atrás sus inicios musicales. Es allí donde toma contacto con el folk, especialmente con la música celta. A pesar de estar alejado musicalmente de sus inquietudes personales, es en éste momento de la vida cuando realmente proyecta sus aspiraciones artísticas. Tras su regreso a Zaragoza, retoma estudios de piano clásico, e integra en el coro Musicalia de la Escuela Municipal de Música y Danza de Zaragoza, participando en diversos conciertos y comienza sus primeras grabaciones personales. Con éste bagaje acumulado es cuando decide emprender un proyecto musical basado en sus orígenes, tanto personales como musicales. Posteriormente inicia estudios de producción musical, enfocados en mejorar su capacidad expresiva en el estudio y simultáneamente, encamina su formación interpretativa hacia el teclado moderno, especialmente en el blues, boogie woogie & rock´n´roll... colaborando con varias bandas del panorama musical aragonés como MetroBlues, May Blossom, BrewBerrys, Vectorian, Bag Production y Pux.
My name is Juan Luis and I was born in 1977, Zaragoza, Spain. I am a composer and a piano and drums musician. I used to play drums in a rock and roll band. Soon, I was looking for new ways to improve my music. Many years ago, I decided to leave Spain and finally, I began a new life in Ireland. I usually heard Celtic music in the lovely Irish pubs of Kenmare and that made me change my musical interests. When I came back to Spain, I learnt classical piano and after that, I started to make my own music and got the knowledge to produce music. In spite of the fact that I was a rock player, all my compositions were made with classical piano education.
Nowadays I´m involved in blues music and photography about life & world, and interested in non-stopping learning about music & life.
